Communications 20 Professor Navarrete May 17, 2009 “Tribute” Speech: Robert I. Introduction A. Attention-getter When you think of a cousin loving, duck shooting, truck driving crashing, mud pit appreciating, high school wrestling star, civil engineer seeking, larry the cable car guy wanna-be, who do you think of? B. Preview That’s right we think of Robert Snescheul, the little redneck that sits in the back of the class room that helps me and Lorenzo make fun of Veronique every once in a while. He’s three kinds of wanna be: a redneck, Larry the cable guy, and cool guy wanna be. II. Body (main points in full sentences) A. First Main Point: You’re a wanna be Redneck. That’s right, I said it. 1. You drive a truck that’s a 2wd and you call yourself a redneck? (for those of you that may not know a two wheel drive means only 2 of the 4 wheels of the car are controlled by the engine. So you get less torque, and you get stuck in mud a lot easier… and probably cry about it. ) 2. You go hunting, but I’m pretty sure you scare the living snot out
