Students can access course materials at : http://sjsu.desire2learn.com Usernames in D2L are in the form of firstname.lastname , but will have an appended number (e.g., joshua.doe2 ) when there is more than one person with that name at SJSU. This means that 3 days prior to the start of the course, you should look up your D2L username by logging into your mySJSU account, clicking on Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Names, and locating your D2L name (look for Name Type called “D2L”) from the list. Don’t forget the “dot” between your first name and your last name! The mySJSU look-up will also be important for persons using middle names, hyphens, apostrophes, etc. Once you know your username, it will not change for subsequent terms (unless you officially change your name in mySJSU). Your initial D2L password is your 9 digit SJSU ID number. After you log in, you can change your password by clicking on the “Password” link in the “My Settings” widget of the D2L Home page. eCampus strongly recommends that students review the “Getting Started with Desire2Learn” PDF before the start of class, which is available on the eCampus D2L Student Resource website at http://www.sjsu.edu/ecampus/students/D2L_students/index.htm . For problems, contact the Help Desk at 408.924.2377 or submit an “incident ticket” online at http://www.sjsu.edu/helpdesk/ticket/ .
