School of Nursing ADMINISTRATIVE PROJECT 100 Actual project and Written paper 26 pts.Presentation of project to class, graded separately NURS 236B Guidelines: 1. By the third week of instruction, select a project related to nursing administration. The project should have implications for improving the professional nursing practice environment (AACN, 2002). 2. The project needs to be approved by faculty and preceptor. Include: a. Statement of the problem b. Brief description of plan ( implementation) c. Goals & objectives d. Evaluation criteria 3. Review the literature for similar projects and evidence based research. 4. Select a change theory framework on which to base the project. 5. Negotiate with the agency for implementation of the project. 6. Implement the project early in the semester in order to have time for implementation and Evaluation. 7. The end product of the project will be a verbal report during the NURS 236B seminar, and a Written report.
