Sunshine Film Review In today’s world, we are living in an unstable environment under global warming, which leads us to question the future of the Earth. What will actually happen in a few years, or 50 years to be exact? Well, the 2007 film Sunshine definitely demonstrates a possibility that at first may not seem believable, but the audience will immediately accept it for what it is; cosmically out of this world. Literally. Surely, this is a sci-fi film so it is no problem if some things may not seem possible, but the production, acting, visual effects, and suspense are amazingly real. It is now the year 2057. The sun will soon explode. No sun equals no life. So, a crew of eight astronauts is sent on a life-threatening mission, in a spacecraft called Icarus II, in order to reenergize the sun with a nuclear bomb. Side note: the name Icarus comes from the Greek mythology of a boy who flies to the Sun and falls to his death. Could this be a foreshadow of their fate? Find out for yourselves.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
