Commitment and Emotional Closeness in the Sibling Analysis
Overall I would have to say you did a good job, covering al the objectives
required for the analysis. Your opening paragraph describing the authors goals for their
article and whether or not they found their claims to be true was stated plain and clearly,
“ The author main goals can be summarized by answering (a) do siblings sustain a
committed relationship across their life span and (b) how big of a role does affectionate
communication play within two siblings relationship? Throughout the article the authors
use their own data paired with research done by others to support their claims that
siblings do in fact keep a long-term relationship and the sibling commitment is directly
related communication-based emotional support, affectionate communication and birth
order.” I find papers are a lot easier to read when they are complete and clear, which are
the two strengths of your paper. What I found your goals to be were to critique this
