English 1B Spring 2010 Moody TR 12:00 and 3:00 Essay #2 Write a four (full pages) page essay that argues for or against an issue taken from the front page of either, the New York Times , LA Times , Mercury News, or San Francisco Chronicle . A reputable periodical is also acceptable ie. The Christian Science Monitor , the Atlantic , the New Yorke r, the National Review . Three pages express your point of view supported by two sources. One page presents the opposite side of the argument with one source. Attach the article to your paper. The paper should be double-spaced, typed, 12-pt. font and with proper margins. You must express an opinion. No quadruple spaces
