Need: 1 mL vials each of (1) spearmint oil (2) caraway oil (3) R-(-)-carvone (4) S-(+)-carvone b. Determine where you can distinguish the following pairs: (1) vs. (2), and (3) vs. (4). 1. Determine which carvone [i.e., (3) or (4)] you believe to be the main component of each oil [i.e., (1) and  (2)]. 2. Gas Chromatograph  (1 sample per group--share data) 1. Need: 1 mL vials each of (1) spearmint oil (2) caraway oil (3) R-(-)-carvone (4) S-(+)-carvone (5) (+)-limonene 2. Run GC of one  sample/group: Conditions:  Column temp.: 200 EC Injector temp.: 210 EC Detector temp.: 210 EC
