1) Most companies and organizations know their businesses and the strategies required for success. However many corporations struggle to translate the theory into action plans that will enable the strategy to be successfully implemented and sustained (Charlesmore, 2009). Effective organizational strategy takes a holistic and integrative view of organizational needs over contiguous time horizons and maps out a portfolio of initiatives to transform the organization from its current state to a desired state (Charlesmore, 2009). Strategy, in general is very important in an organization especially that it sets the firm’s goals, strategies and tactics. Only after these goals are set by general managers, specific strategies such as organizational and information should be conducted, complementing each other (Charlesmore, 2009) . The ultimate goal is to enable organizations to effectively translate strategic intent all the way through to results in a clear and powerful process.
