The Missouri court system is set up from court of last resort the Supreme Court, then the court of appeals, these are both of the highest Missouri courts. Then next highest would be the circuit court. The last on the list but the first in line is the municipal court. I will start with the municipal court. There are 473 municipal courts in Missouri. The municipal courts deal with traffic and other minor cases. Next Is the Circuit court. There is 45 circuit courts in Missouri. The circuit court deals with civil trials from $0 and there is no maximum. The associate division of the circuit courts deal with civil trials from $0-$25000, and small claims of $3000. The circuit court also deal with domestic relations, criminal, juvenile, and traffic violation trials. This covers all the trial level courts. Now for the Appellate level. The appellate level has two court systems. First the court of appeals, with three courts in Missouri and then the Supreme Court with only one of course. The court of appeals deals with
