Plea bargains are a very complicated subject. When it comes to plea bargains if you are the defendant then you are trading one punishment for a lesser punishment. A plea bargain is simply stating that you are guilty of what crime you have committed and doing this you are accepting a lesser punishment. SO knowing this information what types of plea bargains are there for you to choose if you feel you are guilty? When it comes to plea bargains there are two categories that they follow into. One plea bargain is the explicit plea bargains which the defendant and their attorney agree with the prosecution on a guilty plea for special circumstances. The second category that plea bargains fall into is implicit plea bargains. This category means that nothing has been set in stone by the prosecution and the defendants has not yet plead guilty. However, there have been things said that the prosecution would try to do if the defendant was to plead guilty. Within these two categories come three sub categories. These three categories are charge bargaining, sentence bargaining, and count bargaining. Charge bargaining is where
