Unformatted text preview: Major Stereotyping A lot of majors are usually stereotyped one way or another. For example, I've always heard that people that are in Business and Communication have the easiest schedule and that they like to party a lot. Engineers are usually considered really geeky and not very social because they are busy and are anti- social. Another stereotype engineers have is that they are usually men. People with an architecture major are considered really smart and really stressed out all the time because they have so much work to do. Another group of people that are the same as architectures, are those in the medical field. Duane Situation Before Duane decides what to do about his major he can do many things to make sure he is going in the right direction. First, he needs to ask himself what he really wants to do with his life and not worry about what everyone wants from him. At the end of the day, its his life and his job he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. He then needs to figure out if he is interested in he will have to deal with for the rest of his life....
