The course will provide you with a general background in the main content areas of the field, as well as an understanding of the techniques used by social psychologists to study human social behavior. A more specific list of topics can be found in the attached class schedule. Beyond learning the content of the course material, an important goal of the class is to help you think critically about scientific and unscientific claims about the nature of human behavior. The course will consist of two interactive lectures per week.
