Most of the time, safety is intuitive- if it seems unsafe, don’t do it! Things to keep in mind: Do not bring food or drink into the lab. Please wear close-toed shoes. When working with the brains, please make sure you put on Lab Coats Safety goggles Properly sized gloves If you have any questions about lab safety, ask before proceeding. Attendance Attendance and participation are crucial in order for you to master the material presented during lab. You will be working in groups, and group discussion is an important aspect of this course.
