EE357 Midterm II exam information 1) Your last exam for EE357 will be on Thursday December 3, 11-12:30pm. It will take place at THH212. 2) The exam is closed book and calculators are not allowed. 3) The exam will not be comprehensive. It will cover lecture slide units 9 and 10 (i.e., stack frames and exceptions) as well as 15, 17, 18 and 19 (i.e., memory, cache memory, performance, single and multi cycle CPU design [excluding slides titled as optional] related homework assignments and sample questions that will be posted soon. The majority of you wanted to include number theory. Therefore the exam will include units 1, 2 and 3 as well. The weight this part will be about 7-10% of midterm II exam. 4) The format of midterm II is very similar to that of your first midterm exam: it starts with a few multiple choice questions or questions that need short answers and the rest will need more sophisticated answers; they will be similar to homework and sample questions as well as the examples in slides. 5) We will have a lecture review on December 1
