An individual's personality is the intricate workup of psychological characteristics that
makes them unique from other people; patterns of thought and emotions that cause us to
do and say things in particular ways. Personality can be expressed through our temper or
emotional tone. However, personality also shows our values, beliefs, and expectations.
There are many probable factors that are involved in shaping ones personality; usually
obtained from heredity and the surrounding environments. Research by psychologists
has more and more pointed to hereditary factors being more imperative, especially for
basic personality traits such as emotional tone. However, the gaining of values, beliefs,
and expectations seem to be due more too socializing and distinctive experiences,
especially during childhood.
To obtain knowledge on how personality develops within a human being, research
was compiled to formulate an interview profile. The subjects name is Christina Ozuna;
she is a 31 year old Hispanic female, companion to Richard for 7 years. They have one
child together, Angelina, 5. Christina is also a mother to two older boys, Angel, 15 and
Johnny, 11. Richard is also a father to one other girl, Anisia, 14. Christina resides with all
members of her family in Phoenix, AZ.
Christina is 5’3” and weighs 167lbs. she has
long, straight brown hair and brown eyes. Christina is a self-pay account representative at
Palo Verde Hematology Oncology. The interview was conducted inside the office of the
department supervisor. Christina was asked a series of questions and was told to answer
using life experiences, beliefs, and values.
The interview started off with how does she learn and remember information, moving
forward to more personal questions. Like the interviewer, Christina stated that she is an
