You can access this via https://courses.utexas.edu Textbook: Chemical Principles, 6th Edition, Steven S. Zumdahl (Houghton Mifflin Co.; 2009) Any of the following: Loose leaf B&W version (which includes access code for accessing the on line “eBook” version); or bound book version of 6 th edition (new or used). Chapters to be Covered: see lecture schedule on p. 6 Specifics on exam coverage and any changes will be announced in class Final Exam : Comprehensive – chapters 17, 6-8, 11 and 15 will be covered. Optional: Study Guide (Paul B. Kelter) and Partial Solutions Guide (Thomas J. Hummel & Steven S. Zumdahl) for Zumdahl’s Chemical Principles. The Study Guide has high points of each chapter as well as additional problems with solutions. The textbook provides answers for odd numbered problems, and the Student Solutions Manual for Zumdahl's Chemical Principles provides more detail on solving the same odd numbered problems. Calculator: Calculators (including graphic calculators) can be used on the exam. Computers, phones with calculators, PDAs (e.g., Palms) are NOT allowed.
