Unformatted text preview: Matt Phares English 101 Section 12 James Holsinger February 24, 2008 Midterm Reflection Personally my writing has never been very strong but recently I feel that I have grown stronger as a writer. When I first started writing I found it very difficult for me to meet the minimum requirements, and just putting my thoughts into words. Over the years I have tried to make the transition in my writing from level to level, but I have found it very hard to. English 101 has shown me I am right where I need to be. This class has showed me that I have made the transition from high school writing to college writing, but I still feel I am struggling in some areas. I feel that if I had to write a research paper I would struggle greatly. I have never been assigned to write a formal research paper, only informal papers. Throughout my high school and middle school career I wrote three or four research papers; but those were just low level fundamental papers. If I had to write a paper for an internship or another type of job, I would not fundamental papers....
