Matt Phares English 102 September 2, 2008 LG Dare The claim in my words is that the new phone by LG, The Dare, is so irresistible that as soon as a person sees the phone they get an irresistible feeling that they must touch the phone. I believe that the audience of the ad is the new generation of people buying phones. This would be people my age or in the mid to early twenties. The ethos is Verizon because everyone knows that Verizon is supposed to have the largest network. The Intrinsic ethos would be all the loaded features such as the 3G speed. The author is stating all the features to try and establish creditability to the phone and the company as well. The ad has no to very little extrinsic ethos. The only example of extrinsic ethos I can think of is the Verizon wireless network. The pathos is the picture of the snake wrapped around the phone and the logo is the fine print saying it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera and etc. The claim is that the new LG Dare is the best phone on the market and because the ad is
