The Fall of Saigon is definitely a tough subject to handle. While watching the videos, I
found myself confused about what was happening and why people were freaking out. I kept
asking myself, “Why can’t these people go outside? Why are these people rushing to get
through this gate to board an aircraft?” I was entirely confused until the end of the second video
named “Saigon: The Final Hours.” The first video, “The fall of Saigon”, didn’t explain the full
story of what happened during the entire event, so I found myself curious before watching the
second one.
The first video provided was a broadcast of the event overview. This video only touched
bases with introducing the information to the public about what was happening in the moment
in Southern Vietnam. Watching only the emergency vehicles roam the streets struck me with
this eerie feeling that this event is definitely going to be worse than I expect it to be (“The fall of
