Fostering Commitment One of my personal goals would be to get myself into housing so that I can get my children back onto a schedule and get them back on track so that they are not so out of control all the time. Getting my own place will make things less stressful on me and on them. I will be able to concentrate more on my schooling and get my kids back into the same schools this fall and I will not be wasting gas all the time driving back and forth from utah and nevada every time I need to do something. My kids will be able to make friends and keep friends and I feel that everything will just fall into place and everyone will end up being a lot happier and better off than we are now. I signed up for utah Housing back in June of 2007 and they said I had a 3 year waiting list. I just got my letter today stating that I have come up on the waiting list for housing so now I just need to wait for my Pell Grant to come in and find a place to live and hopefully we will be able to afford it as I have never been on housing assistance before. The suggestions for fostering commitment as stated in the text can be applied to my
