Alan Martinez P.2 An urgent plea for immigration reform The Government should impose a comprehensive immigration reform as soon as possible, which let illegal immigrants get a path to become a citizen. The Congress should be the number one issue in this country. The United States, the land of the opportunity where everyone in this country can succeed in life, at least that is what everyone says. All people in the United States feel that an immigration reform should be imposed right away, because every state is adopting their own immigration laws like the past Arizona law against the Hispanic people, profiling by their appearance, discriminating just some people. Some anti-immigrants thought that illegal immigrants are just basically occupying jobs of the Americans, that they could do it with better payment. Other Americans thought that legalizing the illegal people will make the stressed job market that much more competitive. Also, others think that they broke and ignored the law crossing the frontiers and that demonstrated a lack of honesty and decency to ever
