Number of Worms in Moist  Petri Dish Number of Worms in Dry  Petri Dish 5 5 6 4 5 5 6 4 5 5 1 9 2 8 Observations: The worms in the moist petri dish: -moves slowly, calm, inactive -dispersed The worms in the dry petri dish: -moves quickly -clustured on top of each other -extremely active -keep trying to escape Conclusion: Mealworms prefer a dry environment. They are more active and interactive in a dry  environment. Questions: a. What   types   of   environment   do   mealworms   prefer? Mealworms prefer a dry and dark environment. After piling all the data on  GoogleDocs, it is evident that more mealworms stayed in the petri dish with  less moisture and a lower temperature. They also liked to pile up on top of
