The goal of performing this experiment was to get acquainted with the basic logical gates that make up basic circuits and see how a truth table is based on the schematic design. Furthermore, being able to construct a circuit by following a schematic and being able to troubleshoot it. Method: Given a power supply, breadboard, logical gates, resistors, led’s, and wires, we were able to construct circuit #1 and circuit #2 by following the schematic. We placed the manufactured Logical Gates on our breadboard and used the schematic to properly wire the Logical Gates together. We integrated a Dip switch in our circuit, solely to turn inputs A and B on and off. Furthermore, we wired LED’s by using a 200 ohm resistor to our Dip switch. The LED’s were used as a reference to a truth table, on=1 and off=0, so when we turn a switch on LED would light up. On the output of our circuit we also wired an LED with a 200 ohm resistor to be used a reference for the output of a truth table. Data:
