After familiarizing myself with Jack and Jenny’s business discussion, I think the already invested experience in their business is a definite strength. They will not have to face some of the tribulations they may have endured as new business owners, such as tax paperwork, licensing and funding. Having knowledge of their business process can never be a bad thing. The current economic environment can pose as a weakness to Jack and Jenny. Although they have the desire to expand, doing so may not be the best option for them in this ambiance. They may face very hard times if they fail to strategically find a premium location which will insure positive competition, compliments and even substitutes that may eventually bring business their way. On the other hand, the current economic climate can be an opportunity for Jack and Jenny.

Unformatted text preview: Many commercial real estate companies are feeling the pinch of the downturn in the economy and in-doing-so they have been forced to lower sales and leasing prices for their properties. This can be a great opportunity for them to prime real estate for a good price. The threat of moving into a large-scale expansion is that of competition, if they chose this large-scale expansion they are most likely going to be in a location where there are various other dining alternatives, available for their target markets. Another threat could be the increase of the deteriorating workforce in the Atlanta area. This could adversely affect them in the future of their expansion....
