This is a group assignment. Please form a group of up to 3 using ESP . 2 Aims The aim of this assignment is to develop a better understanding of transforming data represented as XML using XPath, XSLT and XSL FO. 3 Assignment Tasks The XML document for a university result database is given in university.xml. The structure of the document is given below. ‘*’ stands for the element may appear many times under its parent element, and ‘@’ stands for an attribute. Attribute sid of element result refers to attribute sid of element student . university *dept (@did) dname location *student (@sid) sname gender birthDate *unit (@uid) uname convener *unitAssessment item percentage *result (@sid) mark The various tasks that must be completed for this assignment are specified in the sub- sections below.
