Cost effective/ do customers want it?) o Manufacturing o Electronics software and mechanical design o Material selection o Planning o Market evaluation Some iPod questions o Was it technically innovative when it was introduced? Other devices did the exact same thing o Was it able to do something other devices couldn’t No but it won awards for being the best. o Is it a good design? o Is there engineering innovation in the iPod?
