Field Excursion Report Analysis of saline water from Arroyo Burro Beach as well as freshwater from Mission Creek, in Rocky Nook Park, on May 8 th ,2010. The following instruments were calibrated and used to collect the data: 1) YSI ® EC 300 Conductivity/Salinity/Temperature Meter 2) Waterproof (Low Range) EC/TDS/Temperature Tester 3) Coliform test kit with 5 tubes, by LaMotte 4) Oakton ® Waterproof pH/DO 300 Meter 5) Water level meter. 6) Turbidimeter. Arroyo Burro Beach Location: latitude 34°24.2’N ; longitude 119°44.6’W Altitude: sea level. Depth of water: 20cm Width of water: 5 m The samples were collected around 11am. The surroundings temperature was about 65° Fahrenheit, with clear sky and a little bit of wind. No rain in the previous week. The analysis was done in such way to avoid scraping the bottom of the estuary while collecting samples for coliform test as well as turbidity. The Coliform test kit containing 5 vials, with water collected against the water flow
