2 Chapter 1.1 Getting Started Chapter 1: Introduction Section 1.1: An overview – IF USING PPT Tips on navigating the slide show files. 2. To resume a stopped slide show, go to the slide where you want to begin and click the Projector Screen icon in the lower left corner of PowerPoint. (In more recent versions of PowerPoint >2002, the short cut key Shift-F5 “hold down Shift key and hit F5 key” will also restart the show at the current slide ). 1. To stop the narration and exit the slide show, hit the ESC key on your keyboard. The ESC key is found in the upper left corner of your keyboard. We recommend you try this now to see how it works. Hit ESC, and then click the projector screen icon. The only down side to this stopping and starting is that you’ll have to listen to me again from the beginning of the slide!
