Example to Use Ø A database table that contains student information AND another table that contains available courses at Franklin l Student Table contains a field for SSN, Last Name, First Name, Address 1, City, State, Zip, Phone l Course Table contains a field for Course ID, Course Name/Number, Location, Day/Time and Instructor

Some Terminology Ø Entity is the same thing as Entity Set. In our example with student table, our entity or entity set is the Student. l We have information on 2000 students in our table BUT each student will only be listed one time with a unique student id, address, phone, etc. i.e., YOU will be only 1 instance of the 2000 students Ø In our example with the course listing, the entity or entity set is the course l We have info on 200 courses but each is unique based on course number, instructor, location and date/time of class. ACCT425, V1, on line, instructor Tanner is 1 instance of the 200 courses

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
