Check the bulletin board for coaching schedules. Text : Essential University Physics, Volume 2 by Richard Wolfson. See attached syllabus for schedule of lectures. Overview: This is the second part of the introductory physics sequence intended for premedical students and others in the biomedical sciences. The course utilizes simple calculus. Optics, electricity and magnetism, and selected topics from modern physics will be covered. Administrative Issues: Pat Morgan, Undergraduate Office, RLM 5.216, 471-8856 Course Pre- and Co-Requisites : Physics 317K and 117M and credit or concurrent registration for Physics 117N. If you do not appear to have met the requirements, you will be receiving an email from Pat Morgan on the first class day, August 25, and again on the 5th class day, August 31. If the problem is not corrected by the 12th class day, Friday September 10, you will be dropped from the class. Grading:
