1. Hypothesis: In this experiment we look at whether or not woman changed their attitudes dramatically during the 24 th and 30 th day of their menstrual cycle. The experimenter feels that woman do indeed have a high level of stress during this week. 2. Participants: 41healthy young women participated and all were naturally cycling with menstrual cycles between 24 and 30 days. 3. Results: Women showed significant changes in the endocrine and subjective stress indicators. When the statistical analyses were conducted separately for cortical responder and cortical nonresponder, no influence of stress on memory retrieval was evident. Yet several of the women had been affected during this week yet no evidence was found about whether weight or other physicality’s played a role in the change of attitude.
