Nick Scicolone UB 36237809 Psychology 101 Hawk 1. Hypothesis: The hypothesis being tested by the experiment is that more frequently women compared their own share of family work with their husbands. In other words, the more women compare their family work to their husbands, the more they realize that they are comparing their work load. 2. Participants: The participants of the experiment were women who are married. ` Both partners also had to be employed with a minimum of 15 hours per week. They also have to have at least one preschool-aged kid and no children older than 12 year’s old living in their house. The women in this experiment were 24 to 51 years 3. Results: The experiment provided evidence of making comparisons such as the woman’s family work on the household and the comparison on the spouses workload.
