Publication Date: April, 2010 Hypotheses- The hypothesis in this experiment investigates whether superior memory for neutral stimuli is present in implicit memory. Memory was tested with a test of explicit memory, and a test of conceptual memory in all respects apart from retrieval. The participants saw the first member of the implicit memory pair after studying emotional and neutral paired associates. Participants- The participants included 36 native English speakers. 8 women and 10 men were assigned to the intentional test, and 11 women and 7 men were assigned to the incidental test. Results- The results were pretty much identical to the target words and were mainly counted as correct.
