Conclusions and Recommendations Students attend colleges to get a higher education not just to learn more, but also to do something with what they learn. These students want to get their degree to get a better paying job. In order to do so students will have to market themselves after getting their degree. That is the point of Career Services at the University of Colorado. The way Career Services currently operates, separate from any department with the University of Colorado is the problem. The key aspect of what students are looking for in a college is the ability to compete in the workplace to find jobs. The reason a person goes to college is to get a good paying job with chances for advancement. The degree from that institution doesn't matter unless that person finds a job that the person benefits because of the degree. These are the things students and prospective students think about when deciding on which college or even to go to college at all. There are discrepancies in what students do when they graduate with
