Odom, Samuel, Brian Boyd, Laura Hall, and Kara Hume. "Evaluation of Comprehensive Treatment Models for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders." Journal of Autism & Developmental Disorders 40.4 (2010): 425-436. Web. 5 Apr 2010. This online journal article goes in depth about specific treatment methods involved in the therapy of autistic children. This journal article actually is a scientific study that looked deeply into multiple methods of treatment (10+) and gave them ratings from 1-5. While music therapy isn’t included on the list of therapies broken down, it gives me a good idea of what types of therapy may prove to have similar effectiveness that music therapy has on autistic children. This allows me to gain a little bit of background knowledge on other therapies and I can then perform research and break some of them down in comparison to music therapy. Not only does the article judge treatment types, but it also rates programs and organizations that are heavily involved in treating autism. If I know
