Wild Fire Communications, Inc. Case Executive Summary Overview  a. Start up company – Bill Warner CEO entrepreneur, Joe Lassiter President  previous ran a division of Teradyne brought in to form the business. Lassiter was  used to corporate culture but Warner tried to build “West Coast” style creative  technology environment. b. Created – Reengineered the telephone interface to replace the personal  assistants that were rapidly being engineered out of the work force. Targeted the  mobile sales person or executive that needed efficient communications  regardless of where they were working. c. Had raised a great deal of cash and acquired a number of talented individuals  paying average salaries and offering equity as incentive to come on board. d. They are currently managing three separate Lines of Business (LOB’s) with  separate managers in charge of each. The three lines of business are marketing  the same functionality but on different platforms and to different Target markets.
