This reading covers the essentials of laying out a network for a project . The eight steps in the middle of page 281 make up the Work Breakdown Structure , the logical layout of specific tasks that have to be accomplished in order to complete the project. Figure 9.1 (9.2) on page 282 lays out the Work Breakdown Structure in a serial sequential arrangement, wherein you start with the first task and sequentially work through to the end. However there is also a non-serial sequential way of completing the project: once the paper draft is completed, it is possible to perform both the editing and the presentation processes simultaneously.
