Project Plan - The Salisbury Eye Evaluation Exercise 12.4 Audience Medical and dietary professionals will be the primary audience with a secondary audience of interested in the subject matter for personal knowledge. Readers will use the summary to preview dietary intakes by a test group of elderly participants. My readers need to understand the prevalence of inadequate nutrients intake using a probability approach. Purpose My summary is designed to give readers an overview of the materials main idea. My summary needs to help them understand the different results of nutrient intakes based on age, ethnicity and gender. Subject I will be summarizing the nutrient intakes by a sample of elderly residents, aged 65-85, of Salisbury, Maryland. The summary will contain some detail with technical terminology. The information available on pp.298 from the Technical English book by Pickett, Laster and Staples will be sufficient. Title: Nutrient Intakes and Adequacy Among an Older Population on the Eastern Shore of Maryland: The Salisbury Eye Evaluation Author This will be an individual effort. A co-worker will evaluate my completed summary to confirm clarity and intellectual capacity. Project design and specifications The summary will only be a couple paragraphs therefore there will be no design or special features. Due date Monday March 8 th , 2010. I will draft, review and rewrite this summary within three days.
