Compare shop clues logistics requirement with that of an offline retailer. Answer- 1. Shopclues expansion depends on its reach to tier 1 - tier 4 customers which is like reaching villages as well whereas the reach of an offline retailers are just limited to a specific area beyond which it cannot expand hence it is necessary for shopclues to have a better logistics strategy and partners that can reach to such long distances. 2. The mode of placing order is different. In case of ShopClues, which is an e-commerce website, customer place order online and hence delivery is done by Shopclues or their tie up with courier services which can be extra charge or free delivery if purchasing exceeds cetain amount whereas in case offline retailer customers visit the store and buy the product.

3. In case of ShopClues, if product is found defective or wrong product is delivered facility of reverse logistics is available where someone assigned from ShopClues would come to pick the defected product which is not there in case of offline retailer.
