Problem 1: For the following transfer function,       6 4 10 10 , 1000 ss Hs s (a) Construct the Bode-plot of magnitude response. (b) Does this represent a low-pass, band-pass, or band-reject filtering function? (10 + 5 = 15 points) Problem 2: Consider the circuit in Figure 1. (a) Find the transfer function, H(s) = Vo(s)/I in (s). (b) Plot Bode plots of the magnitude and phase responses. (c) Find the maximum gain defined as Hmax = |H(jω)| max . (d) What kind of a filter is this? (e) Determine its bandwidth and cut-off frequency (or frequencies). (5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25 points) Problem 3: (a) Design a first order low pass filter with a dc gain of 0 dB and a cut-off frequency of 10 MHz. (b) Use PSpice to verify your design (i.e. perform AC analysis to plot the magnitude and phase response of your circuit).
