OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY ME 451 - INTRODUCTION TO INSTRUMENTATION AND MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS Lab Report Guidelines – Motor Control Lab – Spring 2010 PLEASE PREPARE A WRITTEN REPORT FOR THIS LAB PROJECT BASED ON THE IEEE TEMPLATE, AVAILABLE THROUGH THE IEEE WEBSITE AND ON THE COURSE WEBSITE. THE CONTENT IS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME AS YOUR PREVIOUS WRITTEN REPORTS – METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, INCLUDING CLEAR FIGURES. GRADING OF THE REPORT WILL LARGELY BE ON CONTENT, WITH ADDITIONAL CREDIT FOR CLARITY AND A PROFESSIONAL-LOOKING PAPER. YOU MAY WISH TO HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY MORE FIGURES AND LESS TEXT THAN THE ORIGINAL TEMPLATE. YOUR GOAL IS TO MAKE IT EASY TO READ, AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. A BRIEF SCAN OF THE SINGLE-PARAGRAPH ABSTRACT SHOULD PROVIDE THE MAIN IDEAS AND RESULTS, AND A SCAN OF THE FIGURES AND FIGURE LABELS SHOULD PROVIDE MOST OF THE REST OF THE INFORMATION. I.
