OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY ME 454 - DYNAMIC MECHANICAL SYSTEMS LABORATORY Task 4 – Encoder – IMU – Report Guidelines – Winter 2010 Due: Thursday, March 18, 2010, noon Overall This is the final report submission for the class. I am not asking for a gigantic, complete report for the entire project. Instead I want you to focus on the final phase of the project, and on a clear presentation of your data/ model comparison. The As a Group … section of the report will receive relatively more weighting. For the other sections aim for clear and concise – just stuff, no fluff. LabVIEW Program 1. Show your project expanded in the Project Viewer window. 2. Describe what you did to modify the program for the new transducers. 3. Illustrate and describe the program states that support the fast/short-term and summary/long-term data acquisition modes. Dynamic Model 1. Illustrate your model as a mass, spring, damper system. 2.
