ED LA320 ~ Introduction of Self Assignment You have an introduction from Ann Lippincott, Terri Hooson, Danielle Ellis and Julie Elvin. We will be working with you in the ED LA320: English Language Arts Methods and Procedures course. This is a strategy we want to model, one that you might consider when you have your own classroom (less than a year from now!). We ask that you, in turn, introduce yourself to us. Below are three (3) proposed options. Option I Please write a brief letter telling us about yourself as a learner and your goals and expectations for this course. We would also like for you to include your recollection of learning how to read: What do you remember about learning to read? Option II You can respond to the prompts listed below. Some writers are more comfortable addressing prompts, therefore, this is an option or adaptation that you might want to offer your students. At this point of your professional development, how do you define "literacy"? What are some of your most memorable childhood "literacy experiences"?
