Directions for Book Detective 1. Decide who will be “A” and who will be “B” 2. Partners must stay together. Partners must also decide if A will ask a number of people the same question, until locating someone who responds positively, or if A will ask the same person different questions until that person answers in the affirmative to one of the questions. 3. Partner A asks a question from the Book Detective sheet and B writes the name of the respondent on the line. 4. Once A gets an affirmative response, partners switch roles. Person B asks a different question and A writes the name. 5. Steps 3 and 4 are repeated until time is called. Structuring Cooperative Learning Grouping: Partners
