Collaborative Character Map 1. Write the character’s name in the center of the paper. 2. Discuss words that describe the character and select at least one word for each member of the group. 3. After you decide which traits you will use in your map, in nodes linked to the center, each student is responsible for using a different color pen to record one of the characteristics. 4. As a group, discuss evidence from the story for each trait. When evidence for all the characteristics has been discussed and determined, each student draws another line, records the evidence, and circles the writing to form
