Prompt ~ Dream a Little Dream. .. "...Stars fading but I linger on, dear. .. Whispers through a Sycamore tree. .. Dream a little dream of me." ~ "Mama" Randy Pausch inspires with his calls for rediscovery of our childhood dreams, holding them tightly, and make them personal priorities in the Now. Even if we forget our childhood fantasies and yearnings, they remain, waiting to resurface: they linger in our minds and hearts, until ready to be recalled. Here are some mini-prompts to respond to in the continued readings of The Last Lecture, which each requiring a different kind of response, so read each carefully. (Oh, and my brother’s greatest ambitions in life, at age eight: either to be a garbage man or an astronaut – ask why.) r I.
