You’re Career 2 You’re Career as an IT Professional Proposal For my final project I will be writing about the information technology/ computer programming career field. I believe this career choice is one of the fastest growing career fields in the job market today. I am currently attending college to earn a degree in computer programming. There are a number of reasons I have chosen this career. I believe this is the right career for me due to the growth I have witnessed throughout my life. Computers are steadily evolving and becoming more important to today’s society. Think of trying to make it through the week without your computer for emails, instant messaging, and even online games. A career working with computers and the computer industry seems to be a very stable and promising career path for a new graduate. I believe that through appropriate training I can learn much more about computers and computer programming. This will enable me to obtain a promising career in computer programming. I will be including several elements including salary, job requirements, statistics, and the steps to obtaining a career in computer programming. There are many benefits to training in this career field. I believe there is a vast amount of growth for computer programming. There is an average of 2 computers in each home, and an average of 63 computers in each business. These numbers are quite large. There is a person who works diligently to program each of these computers. The knowledge that a person will gain while studying will enable them to learn more about computers. If a person is properly trained for computer programming they then become a valuable part of any company.

You’re Career 3 I hope that through my research, I can learn more about the many different aspects for training in this career. I hope to learn more about the many angles of working successfully in this career. Abstract The information technology/ computer programming career field. When a person hears this statement there is undeniable apprehension about this being the right career choice for them. I am providing helpful background information and statistics on average earnings, career opportunities, and the growth and advancement of computers programming. This will hopefully help make this decision easier for people who are interested in this career. I am providing a step by step guide that a person can follow in order to successfully obtain employment as a computer programmer.
