Writing Instructions If you are using Windows XP, and would like to save your completed Word document to a disk Using Microsoft Office 2007 just follow these easy steps. Step 1: Left click on the Office Button (This is the circular button in the upper left hand corner of your screen which turns orange when you run your mouse over it.) Once this button is clicked if done correctly a new menu will appear in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Step 2: On the new menu you will select the “Save as” option. This is about half way down in the list provided. You will do this by left clicking on the words “Save as.” If you have done this correctly a new window will open on your screen.

The cd drive has a small micture of a cd. Then you will select the option to save to disk. Congratulations you have successfully saved your Microsoft Word document to a disk. I believe these instructions are pretty much the basic instructions for a person to save the document. I am not sure if the instructions I have written would be any different if my audience were different. I have never done this before so I am not sure if I got everything. For some reason my cd drive is messed up and I get an error code when I try to save. I am fairly certain that I have included all of the appropriate steps for this assignment....
