If this practice was not supported by society, then slavery would never have existed. I believe that no one person should have been able to purchase any one person. Everyone has a brain and is capable of making decisions. An extra added thought. I know that I would not like to be purchased and made to labor all day for someone else never earning money for things I enjoy. I also would not like to be on the receiving end of discrimination, or racism. I do not understand why anyone believes they are better than anyone else because of race or cultural differences....
