What are the main purposes of ambulatory care? Do you think ambulatory care is changing societies view on health care? Why or why not? How can its services improve? After working for a surgeon myself, I have seen patients struggle to come up with the money to pay for surgery in a large hospital. In cases where the patient was going to have an outpatient procedure done the physician that I worked for would do the surgery through an outpatient hospital, or in the office based on the need of anesthetic.
